Times are bad now but stay positive
With global recession no end in sight, both graduating students and people being retrenched are out of jobs. With tuition fees loan for fresh graduates and other liabilities like housing and car for retrenched professionals piling up. One cannot feel helpless if belongs to either of these 2 groups.
Old and retired people being scammed from banks by buying into Lehman Brothers Minibonds, from friends and relatives into investing in Moonshine Empire.
Then cannot retire comfortably already.
Charity mismanaging poor people kind donations.
Those with jobs, then still got office politics.
Those with businesses, folded due to recession or some other causation.
Keep in mind the following verses to help you get through the day and life,
You cannot control the weather, but you can control your state of mind.
When the sky is raining, would you complain about it or sell umbrellas?
You can’t have plain sailing, but you can do your utmost.
No one says that effort put into achieving a particular outcome must get that outcome.
And curse and swear if you did not. No one owes you a living.
In fact, would you want a plain and smooth sailing life with no challenges?
You can’t control others, but you can be your own master.
When no one is buying your goods and services, there are only 2 choices, either cries mother and father, or do something to increase sales.
You can’t change your appearance, but you can put on a smile.
You can change your appearance with expensive plastic surgery but if you are a man (or even women) with multi-millions assets, then there is not a need.
If you are a poor man (or even women), then you don’t have money to change appearance.
What you can do for free is polish up your public relations skills and problem solving capailities to survive and excel in social world.
